2. About the Free Tools

Our free tools, including the Google Business Profile Grader, Business Bio Generator, Missed Call Calculator, and others, are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Results, scores, and outputs generated by these tools are indicative only. Some are based on self-reported information and simplified scoring models. Others, such as the Contact Checker, Schema Checker and Alt Text Checker, automatically read a single page you give us at one moment in time. Automated checks can miss things and can occasionally report something that is not a real problem, and checking one page tells you nothing about the rest of your site. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including legal, marketing, financial, or technical advice.

In particular, where a tool refers to accessibility or to duties under the Equality Act, that is general information and not an accessibility audit or a statement of legal compliance. Passing one of our checks does not mean your website meets WCAG or any other standard. If accessibility compliance matters to you, get a proper audit.

We make no guarantee that using or acting on the results of any tool will produce any particular business outcome.

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our tools or content without written permission.

• Submit a website address you have no right to test. Our checking tools fetch the page you give them. Only submit a site you own, run, or have permission to check. You are responsible for having that permission, and for anything that follows from asking us to fetch a page on your behalf.
• Use the checking tools in bulk or through automated means. They are for occasional use by a person checking their own site. A rate limit applies, and we may block requests that go beyond ordinary use or that place an unreasonable load on the service.

Our checking tools fetch pages that we do not control and did not write. We are not responsible for the content of any third-party page you ask us to check, and reading a page does not mean we endorse or have verified anything on it.
